Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: June 4, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not permitted when using Effortless Apply (the “Service”). It is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service (in particular Sections 4, 7, and 11) and our Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms control. The Service discovers jobs and prepares and submits applications on your behalf, including creating accounts on third-party application platforms when a posting requires one — so using it responsibly matters both to you and to the employers who receive your applications.

1. Use the Service as yourself, truthfully

  • Use the Service only to apply on your own behalf, using your own genuine work history, credentials, and identity.
  • Keep your profile accurate. Do not submit fabricated work history, fraudulent credentials, or misrepresented qualifications.
  • Do not misrepresent your work authorization or right to workin any jurisdiction. AI-assisted answers are generated from the information you provide — you are responsible for the content submitted under your name (see Terms, “AI Output and Automated Processing”).

2. One account, one person

  • Do not use the Service to apply on behalf of another person, whether for hire or otherwise.
  • Do not share your account, and do not let others apply through it.
  • Do not create multiple accounts, or use any other means, to circumvent your plan's limits or the free-trial allowance.

3. Do not abuse the Service itself

  • Do not scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary logic of the Service.
  • Do not run your own automation, bots, or scripts against the Service, or otherwise attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls.
  • Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, introduce malware, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
  • Do not disrupt, degrade, or interfere with the availability or performance of the Service for other users.

4. Respect third-party platforms

The Service interacts with employer and applicant-tracking-system (ATS) platforms using the same public application forms a human applicant would use. By using the Service you authorize it to do so on your behalf. You agree that:

  • You are responsible for complying with the terms of each employer or ATS platform you apply through.
  • You will not direct the Service at platforms or postings you are barred from using, or use it to gain unauthorized access to, or place excessive automated load on, any third-party system.
  • You will not use the Service to apply to roles you are not genuinely interested in or qualified for in good faith, or to attempt to manipulate an employer's screening process.

5. Lawful and respectful use

  • Do not use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or infringing purpose.
  • Do not use the Service in a way that would cause you to breach your own obligations to a third party (for example, a non-compete, non-solicitation, or other agreement you are bound by).
  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

6. Consequences of violations

Violating this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account (see Terms of Service, Section 11). Fees already paid for a period in which a violation occurred are not refundable (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy). We may also take any other action available to us under the Terms or applicable law.

7. Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is misusing the Service, or you have questions about what is permitted, email support@effortlessapply.ai.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes are announced the same way as changes to our Terms (email notice at least 30 days before they take effect for material changes). The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
